Head of Modern Foreign Languages

Languages are an important part of the school's broad curriculum, with French being the key language at Common Entrance.  This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, experienced and motivated teacher to lead and develop our thriving department. You will have the scope to look at the languages that we teach, to ensure that we are offering the broadest experiences for our children.  The starting date for this position is Monday, 4 January 2021.

Lifeguards for St Hugh's Swim School

We are looking for conscientious lifeguards to start working in the wonderful new pool facility at St Hugh’s, who are available for any of the following times starting from Wednesday, 22nd April on a weekly basis; 

  • Monday 15:15 - 18:45
  • Wednesday 15:15 - 19:15
  • Friday 15:15 - 19:15
  • Saturday 09:30 - 12:30
  • Sunday 08:30 - 12:00 

There is potential for more work over the summer months, moving into an expanded provision from September.  Previous experience would be helpful but is not essential. However, all candidates must have a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).

Applications close on 8th March 2020 at midday.  Interviews will take place on the evenings of Wednesday, 11th March or Thursday, 12th March. Shortlisted candidates will need to complete a pool competency test, which will take place on March 29th 2020 between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.
